CIC

Mad About Art has now become Mad About Art & Wellbeing CIC, a Community Interest Company created to put creativity, inclusion and wellbeing at the heart of what we do. Becoming a CIC means we can apply for grants and community funding to help us reach more children, young people, families and adults, particularly those who may face financial, social or additional barriers to accessing creative opportunities. We are currently seeking funding to support subsidised and free art sessions, after-school clubs, SEND-friendly provision, community workshops, materials and outreach projects. The aim is simple: to make high-quality, exciting art experiences more accessible, build confidence and connection through creativity, and make sure cost is not the reason somebody misses out.

The number of Expressive Arts teachers in secondary schools fell by 27% between 2011/12 and 2023/24

VOLUNTEER

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to get involved with Mad About Art & Wellbeing CIC and help us bring more creative opportunities into the community. Whether you’re an artist, student, educator, maker, or simply someone who enjoys working with people, we’d love to hear from you. Volunteers can support workshops, events, preparation, community projects and behind-the-scenes activity — helping us make art more accessible, welcoming and fun for everyone.
